Are you a pure vegetarian caterer?
Yes. VAAV is 100% pure vegetarian — every menu, every event. We don't cook or serve any non-vegetarian food.
Which areas do you serve?
Our kitchen is in Perungalathur (Peerkankaranai) and we cater across all of Chennai. We also take outstation events — message us with your location and date and we'll confirm.
What's the minimum order?
From 30 guests for a tiffin spread and 50 for a full virundhu sappadu — up to 2,000+ plates for large weddings.
How much does catering cost?
Catering is priced per plate and shaped around your menu, guest count and event. Message us on WhatsApp for a quick quote.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as you can, especially for weekend weddings and festival dates. Message us with your date and we'll confirm availability straight away.
How do I book and pay?
We take a 50% advance to confirm your booking, with the balance due on or before the event day. Message or call +91 96553 56333 and we'll lock in your date.
Do you serve on banana leaf?
Yes, the traditional way — with buffet or table service also available on request.
Can the menu be customised (Jain / no onion-garlic)?
Yes, our menus are fully customisable, including sattvic onion- and garlic-free menus for pujas.
Do you provide cooks and servers?
Yes — our packages include cooks and servers, so you can just enjoy the day.
Do you offer a tasting before booking?
Yes — we're happy to arrange a tasting so you can plan your menu with confidence. Just ask us when you enquire.
